Directors
Jason Barker | Managing Director
I was born and raised in Grimsby, and always had a passion for everything automotive! After leaving school, I initially worked on the Docks with my Dad, before venturing into the car industry.
Although I was quite old for an apprentice at age 27, my passion for the car repair industry propelled me at an extreme rate. 25 years later, we own a successful accident repair centre founded on quality and excellent customer service. Our business has gone from strength to strength, and I'm proud of the team for their continuous commitment to growth here at CARS.
When you love what you do, it never feels like work – and I never have that ‘Sunday feeling’!
Lisa Barker | Director
Having always had a hand in the business, I officially joined CARS in 2014 following a lengthy career with the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP). Along with Jason, I am responsible for the daily running of the business, specialising in accounts and other financial aspects.
I am passionate about maintaining the CARS ethos of putting the customer at the forefront of everything we do. We wouldn’t be here without you!
Office Team
Sam Morgan | Customer Relationship Manager
Sam joined CARS in 2022 after working as a Production Manager in the signage industry for several years.
Sam says he enjoys his role as it combines his passion for cars with his keen ability to help people. Our customers often comment on Sam's ability to reassure them in stressful times, whilst also delivering professional, valuable knowledge.
Mark Avison | Estimator
Mark secured his first role in the motor trade aged 23. More than 20 years later, he's never looked back, having worked in various sectors within the motor industry, including sales, parts and estimating.
Mark says his favourite thing about working at CARS is the real buzz he gets when a damaged car is returned back to factory condition. It’s amazing to see the customers’ faces when they collect their vehicles.
Ebony Morgan | Head of Business Development
Ebony joined the CARS team in 2023. Coming from a financial advice background, Ebony applies her organisational and planning qualities to ensure the whole site runs to the highest standard.
A large portion of her time is also spent producing and publishing educational content, ensuring our customers are aware of their rights when it comes to accident and insurance repairs.
Abbie Curtiss | Finance Administrator
Abbie joined CARS in 2020 after previously working for another local garage in the service department.
She now works in accounts and specialises in supplier payments, VAT reconciliation and other financial administrative duties.
Nelly Barker | CARS Mascot
Chief morale booster and belly rub demander.
Workshop Team
Callum Barker | Workshop Technician
Callum joined the CARS team over 10 years ago as an apprentice and is now a qualified painter.
He enjoys the variation of working on a number of different vehicles, resulting in the continuous expansion of his knowledge.
Callum is a fun and lively spirit to have in the workshop and comes to work each day with the aim of making everyone laugh.
Lee Skelton | Workshop Technician
Lee joined the CARS team in 2026 and quickly became an integral part of the daily operations.
He specialises in Mechanical, Electrical and Trim, and enjoys the variation of his job role. Lee is committed to delivering quality outcomes for our customers and it's brilliant to have him here at CARS.
Paul Maguire | Workshop Technician
Paul joined CARS as a Panel Beater back in 2012, shortly after the company opened. Prior to this, he worked at another local company where he gained vast experience around mechanical repairs.
Paul says the best thing about working at CARS is the people, as he has longstanding relationships built up across many years. Paul has really become part of the furniture and it's great to have him here at CARS.
Paul Moody | Workshop Technician
Paul joined the CARS team in 2024 and settled seamlessly into the operations. He is extremely committed to delivering the best outcomes for our customers.
Paul is a multi-skilled technician and enjoys the variation this brings him here at CARS. He continues to engage in training and development, expanding the service offering to our customers. His commitment is extremely valuable and we are proud to have him as part of our team.
Aaron Moxon | Workshop Controller
Aaron began working at CARS when it first opened in July 2012. Prior to this, he had built up vast knowledge and experience of the repair industry, and had also worked alongside Jason for a number of years.
Aaron says he enjoys working at CARS for many reasons, including the family feel and varied workload. He is an extremely valuable member of the team and his efforts in providing the best service to our customers never go unnoticed.
Jasmine Connolly | Apprentice Accident Repair Technician
Jasmine joined the team as an apprentice in 2025, alongside her college-based course. She is progressing rapidly, both with industry-based skills and her personal development. We are proud of Jasmine's commitment to her growth journey and excited to see her progress further.
