In May, the team attended the Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards, organised by the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce. The CARS team was awarded the Forrester Boyd Business Excellence Award.
This award is not entered for, but is the ultimate accolade chosen specially by the judges, recognising excellence in the following areas:
- Use of and contribution to the local supply chain
- Community engagement and benefit
- Long-term sustainability
- Employment training and benefits
- Management practices
We were also lucky to walk away with three runner up certificates, including a nomination for Jason Barker as Business Person of the Year, and Sam Morgan as Employee of the Year.
